Preis der Sonderpreis in Höhe von 5000 Euro für die beste Interpretation eines Klavierliedes von Richard Strauss, gestiftet von der Familie Strauss ( Garmisch-Partenkirchen ), zugesprochen wurde.
Mit dem 3. Preis in Höhe von 5000 Euro, gestiftet von der Europäischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und Künste, Salzburg, wurde die Österreicherin Sophie Rennert ausgezeichnet.
Als Anerkennungspreise in Form des Bärenreiter Urtext Preises, gestiftet vom gleichnamigen Verlag, wurden Notengutscheine in Höhe von jeweils 300 Euro an drei weitere Finalisten vergeben:

The third prize amounting to € 5,000, donated by the European Academy of Sciences and the Arts in Salzburg, was awarded to the Austrian mezzo-soprano Sophie Rennert.
As acknowledgement prizes in the form of the Bärenreiter original text prize, donated by the publishing house of the same name, sheet music vouchers each amounting to € 300 were awarded to three other finalists:
