Das Sportmuseum Berlin ist ein Museum des Landes Berlin und wird aber auch von jährlichen finanziellen Zuschüssen von AIMS unterstützt.
Zum 25-jährigen Jubiläum von AIMS 2007 erstellte das Museum eine Ausstellung für den 16. AIMS-Kongress in Xiamen in China.
Auch in Athen 2010 war das Museum mit einer Ausstellung präsent und machte außerdem mit Werbeflyern bei den Mitgliedern auf sich aufmerksam.
