Seit 1992 hat er mehr als 40 Expeditionen unternommen, unter anderem nach Indien, Birma, Sri Lanka, Ägypten, Dominica, Äthiopien, Kenia, Tonga, Namibia und in die Antarktis.
Dabei hat er Elefanten, Wale, Leoparden, Salzwasserkrokodile und viele andere Tiere fotografiert.
