Das Gremium für Pflanzengesundheit (PLH) der Europäischen Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit (EFSA) veröffentlichte heute wissenschaftliche Empfehlungen zu Zitruspflanzenschädlingen und gelangte zu dem Schluss, dass einige der untersuchten Organismen ein Risiko für die französischen Überseedepartements Guadeloupe, Französisch-Guayana, Martinique und Réunion darstellen könnten.
Auf Ersuchen der Europäischen Kommission beurteilte die EFSA insgesamt 15 Bewertungen von Zitruspflanzenschädlingen und -krankheiten.

The European Food Safety Authority Plant Health (PLH) Panel has today published scientific advice on citrus plant pests and concluded that some of the organisms examined could pose a risk to the French overseas departments of Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique and Réunion.
Following a request from the European Commission, EFSA evaluated assessments on 15 citrus plant pests and diseases.

VNREDSat-1 wurde am 6. Mai 2013 mit einer Vega-Rakete vom europäischen Weltraumbahnhof in Kourou (Französisch-Guayana) im Orbit platziert.
Der 130-kg-Satellit VNREDSat-1 wird von seiner sonnensynchronen Umlaufbahn in 600 bis 700 km Höhe aus eine Schwadbreite von 17,5 km abtasten und Bilder mit einer Auflösung von 2,5 m im panchromatischen bzw. von 10 m im multispektralen Modus (4 Bänder) aufnehmen.
www.astrium.eads.netThe VNREDSat-1 system is based on the Astrium operational AstroSat100 satellite, used for the SSOT programme developed with Chile or the ALSAT-2 satellite system developed with Algeria.
VNREDSat-1 was placed in orbit on 6 May 2013 aboard a Vega rocket from the European Space Centre in Kourou, French Guiana.
The 130kg satellite will image at 2.5m in panchromatic mode and 10 m in multi-spectral mode (four bands) with a 17.5km swath, and will orbit at 600–700km in a sun synchronous orbit.
