Peterson Kamwathi Waweru, geboren 1980 in Nairobi, beschäftigt sich seit langem mit Symbolen und ihrer Bedeutung.
In der Ausstellung zeigt er aktuelle Zeichnungen, Holzschnitte und Graffiti, in denen er die geschichtlichen, sozialen und psychologischen Mechanismen der Konditionierung und Manipulation nicht nur in seiner eigenen Gesellschaft thematisiert.
In Kooperation mit dem Goethe-Institut und dem Verlag für Moderne Kunst Nürnberg entstand die Publikation Peterson Kamwathi, herausgegeben von J. Hossfeld & U.
