Der VDA ( Verband deutscher Automobilindustrie ) ist ein Interessensverband der die Belange der Automobilindustrie in allen Bereichen der Kraftverkehrswirtschaft unterstützt, z.B. Normung, Qualitätssicherung, Verkehrspolitik.
Zu den Mitgliedern des Verbandes zählen deutsche Unternehmen mit industrieller Fertigung im gesamten Kraftfahrzeugbereich.
Im VDA gibt es wiederum Arbeitskreise, die die Themenschwerpunkte der Automobilindustrie behandeln.
