Ausgangssituation
Ein jährliches Wirtschaftswachstum von 10 Prozent und Senkung der von Armut betroffenen Menschen von derzeit über 40 auf 35 Prozent der Bevölkerung – diese Ziele verfolgt Burkina Faso mit seiner Strategie für Wachstum und nachhaltige Entwicklung.
Die Regierung will diese Ziele erreichen, indem sie die Investitionen in Landwirtschaft, Bergbau und Infrastruktur bis 2015 ankurbelt und diese Sektoren besonders fördert.
