In Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung BMZ und der Kultusministerkonferenz ( KMK ) wurde ein Rahmencurriculum zum globalen Lernen entwickelt, das in Deutschland fast synonym zu BNE gebraucht wird.
Der entwicklungspolitische Schulwettbewerb des Bundespräsidenten ist ein interessantes Beispiel für den Einsatz von Wettbewerben zur Förderung so wichtiger Themen wie Umwelt, Nachhaltigkeit und Globalisierung.
