In ihrer Einzelausstellung „Bored Rebels“ in Glasmoog bringt McCarthy zum ersten Mal mehrere ihrer filmischen Arbeiten, die um die Figur des „Bored Rebel“ kreisen, in einer Rauminstallation zusammen.
Gelangweilt, apathisch, dekadent, pseudoaktionistisch und quasiprovokant – McCarthys Protagonist/innen wirken, als seien sie aus der Zeit gefallen.

Her solo exhibition in Glasmoog brings together three of her filmic pieces that deal with the figure of the “Bored Rebel” in a spatial installation for the first time.
