Dazu werden hierarchische Modellstrukturen hergestellt, um den Einfluss unterschiedlicher Parameter auf die Adhäsion des Haftsystems zu untersuchen, wie beispielsweise Zahl und Geometrie der Hierarchiestufen, Adhäsion gegen raue Oberflächen und mechanische Eigenschaften der Strukturen ( Steifigkeit, Viskoelastizität ).
