Der Konstanzer Neuropsychologe Prof. Dr. Thomas Elbert hat für die Erforschung der systemischen Veränderung des Menschen durch Stress und Gewalterfahrungen erfolgreich einen ERC Advanced Grant eingeworben.
Insgesamt 2,4 Millionen Euro stellt der renommierte Förderpreis dem Konstanzer Wissenschaftler über eine Laufzeit von fünf Jahren zur Verfügung, um die persönlichkeitsverändernde Wirkung von traumatischen Erinnerungen zu erforschen, insbesondere auch deren epigenetischen und generationsübergreifenden Auswirkungen.
