At the end of the 20th century, the province took over the building and passed it on to the municipality of Caldaro.

Die Funktion des Gebäudes wurde schon Anfang der 70er-Jahre eingestellt und gegen Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts übernahm das Land die Struktur, welches diese dann wiederum der Gemeinde Kaltern übergab.
