Waterproof, shockproof compact cameras have become very popular over the past couple of years, with several of the main manufacturers fielding "ruggedised" models in their ranges.
The aluminum-bodied lights themselves are waterproof and shockproof, and put out 150 and 30 lumens, respectively (although more powerful versions are planned).
