So zog man am 02.01.2002 mit 18 Beschäftigten in das neue, mit modernster Technik in Betrieb genommene Produktions- und Verwaltungsgebäude im Gewerbegebiet Meiningen-Dreißig-acker, das mit einer Nettofläche von 87,5 ha das größte im Raum Südthüringen ist.
Mehr als 70 Firmen aus dem verarbeitenden Gewerbe, dem Präzisions- und Sondermaschinenbau, aus produzierenden Branchen, dem Baugewerbe und dem Baunebengewerbe sowie Handel und Dienstleistungen haben sich hier bereits angesiedelt, doch noch stehen Gewerbeflächen für die Ansiedlung zur Verfügung.
ABS electronic hat heute seine Belegschaft verfünffacht, auf bereits 65 Mitarbeiter, von denen acht in der Verwaltung tätig sind, die restlichen 57 in der Produktion.
