GIZ has been operating in the country since 1999 on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development ( BMZ ) . GIZ organises training and professional development for judges and public prosecutors, for example, and is developing new, improved vocational training schemes for young people in various business sectors in cooperation with the state and the private sector.
Macbeth explained that several business sectors had particular potential.
Kosovo is already exporting a number of high-quality, organically certified varieties of tea and the metal industry and environmental technology also offer excellent opportunities.
