Die für Tourismus zuständigen Ministerien in Kroatien, Serbien, Rumänien und Bulgarien haben mit Unterstützung des Projektes 2011 eine Vereinbarung zur vertieften Kooperation ihrer Länder im Bereich Tourismus unterschrieben.
Das DCC hat als federführender Partner für sie Maßnahmen zur Kooperation bei Messen umgesetzt, den Aufbau eines Webportals begleitet und das von der EU geförderte Projekt zur Bewerbung zweier regionaler Kulturrouten – „Römer“ und „Weinstraßen“ – unterstützt.
Das DCC ist in beratender Funktion in die Arbeitsgruppe Tourismus der Europäischen Donaustrategie eingebunden.

The fortified walls were built to protect Ibiza from the Romans and the Greeks, and these walls still contain the imprints of its history right from the earliest settlers through to the Renaissance Age due to the fact that, rather than destroying the earlier fortifications, these were actually incorporated into the newer architecture.
