Einig waren sich die Diskutanten, dass eine gerechte Stadtentwicklung nur dann möglich ist, wenn Schulbildung, medizinische Versorgung und einkommensschaffende Maßnahmen sinnvoll ineinandergreifen.
Stadtverwaltungen und Nichtregierungsorganisationen müssten dafür eng zusammenarbeiten und die Bevölkerung in allen Planungen einbeziehen, so ein zentrales Ergebnis der Diskussion.

The participants agreed that equitable urban development is only possible when school education, medical care and income-generating measures interact meaningfully.
Thus a central result of the discussion was that, in order to make this happen, municipal authorities and non-governmental organisations have to work closely with each other and involve the population in all stages of planning.
