For the two locations (Sylt for open coastline and Hamburg as a city in an estuary region), four subprojects were carried out to develop all of the methods and models required to perform the risk analysis and they were implemented in those areas in close cooperation with the relevant local authorities.
In Subproject 4, the results of all other subprojects were combined into a risk analysis based on the "Source Pathway Receptor" concept.
