The man was Mořic Vilém Trapp (1825-1895), from 1864 curator of the Francis Museum, later Moravian Museum in Brno, a man thanks to whom the Moravian prehistory got gradually into the centre of interest of specialists as well as instructed members of the public of European renown.
Trapp not only saved archaeological material, he also encouraged noblemen to donate items from their private collections to „his“ museum and he even made great effort to prevent the export of cultural treasures of Moravia abroad.

Der Mann war Mořic Vilém Trapp (1825-1895), ab 1864 Kustos des Brünner Franzensmuseums, des späteren Mährischen Landesmuseums, ein Mann, dem ein großer Verdienst darum zugeschrieben wird, dass die mährische Prähistorie allmählich in Zentrum des Interesses der Fachleute sowie belehrter Laien europäischen Ruhms gelangte.
Trapp barg archäologisches Material und darüber hinaus ermahnte er Edelleute, „seinem“ Museum Gegenstände aus ihren Sammlungen zu schenken.

After concert tours as a violin virtuoso, the Duke of Fürstenberg employed him in 1822 as his kapellmeister in Donaueschingen. He raised the level of the Duke?s orchestra significantly and brought it great renown.
Kalliwoda died in 1866 in Karlsruhe.
