The main purpose of this project is to proof the modular concept of a platform where the heterotrophic conversion of substrate to product is basically exchangeable and the autotrophic process provides a cheap source of carbon, only dependent on CO2, sunlight and mineral medium.
Additionally, the project will provide new insights in the cultivation of defined mixed cultures and the development of methods for the analysis thereof.drucken
