www.exlibrisatelier.atDie Handschrift wurde im Franziskanerkloster S. Francesco von Locarno benutzt, das sie zusammen mit den Antiphonarium de tempore Codice II und Codice III sowie dem Antiphonarium de sanctis Codice IV aus Anlass der Neueinweihung der Kirche im Jahre 1316 erworben hatte.
Am Ende des Textes ( c. 181r ) befindet sich eine Praefatio ( Statutum pro libris choralibus scribendis ), die normalerweise vorangestellt ist, in der die Richtlinien für die Redaktion der Choralbücher des Ordens enthalten sind.
Auf der letzten Seite hat der Bruder Giacomo di Rastelli Orelli einige Urkunden, die das Kloster betreffen, transkribiert: eine Notiz über die Herstellung der Bibliotheksschränke, die Weihurkunde des Jahres 1316 und die Notiz einer Schenkung zum Ankauf liturgischer Geräte. ( ber )

At the end of the text ( fol.181r ) is a Praefatio ( Statutum pro libris choralibus scribendis ), which would normally be placed at the beginning, containing the guidelines for editing choral books for the order.
On the last page Brother Giacomo di Rastelli Orelli transcribed some records concerning the cloister: a note about the provision of the library cabinets, the dedication document from the year 1316, and a note about a donation for the purchase of liturgical paraphernalia. ( ber )
