Das Netz 1. Ordnung besteht aus ca. 70 Fixpunkten mit einem Abstand von 30 bis 50 km, verteilt über die ganze Schweiz.
Darauf basierend enstand die Triangulation 2. Ordnung, welche wiederum durch die Triangulation 3. Ordnung verdichtet wurde.
Insgesamt stehen ca. 3000 so genannte Lagefixpunkte der Kategorie 1 ( LFP1 ) zur Verfügung, welche eine relative Nachbargenauigkeit von ca. 3 bis 5 cm aufweisen.

Based on these points, the second order network was determined, which was in turn densified by the third order network.
