Im Rahmen des SKINSPECTION-Projekts entwickelt ein europäisches Konsortium ein neuartiges hybrides multimodales Bildgebungssystem, welches eine nicht-invasive dreidimensionale in-vivo Bildgebung der Haut ermöglicht.

Beim SKINSPECTION Ansatz werden Zwei-Photonen-Bildgebung mit zeitkorrelierter Einzelphotonen-Detektion , Autofluoreszenz-Lebensdauer... ( FLIM – Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy ) , hochfrequenter Ultraschall und Optoakustik miteinander kombiniert .

Durch diesen multimodalen Ansatz können Hautveränderungen sowohl großflächig mit quantitativer Tiefenauflösung als auch mikroskopisch mit subzellularer Auflösung und quantitativen hyperspektralen Informationen bildgebend dargestellt werden.
