Damit es überhaupt gelingt, 350 Tonnen Gerüstbauteile nach oben zu befördern, hat Paris Echafaudage eine Metallkonstruktion in Form eines Küchenhockers entworfen.
Sie besteht aus einem verstärkten Ring, der um den Sockel des Tambours verläuft und auf vier jeweils 37 Metern hohen Beinen steht, die mit sogenannten Mikro-Pylonen verankert werden.
