Darüber hinaus soll mittels einer EEG-Kopplungsanalyse eine Veränderung der neuronalen, kortikalen Konnektivität intra- und interoccipital erfasst werden.

Durch genetische PCR-gestützte Kopplungsanalyse gelang es, diesen Lokus auf einen Bereich von ca. 8 – 10 centiMorgan auf Chromosom IV zu begrenzen.
