Sovata Seit November 1999 gibt es ein zweites Werk für die Herstellung von Hochland - Käse in Rumänien.
In Sovata, einem kleinen Kurort am Rande der Ostkarpaten, rund 80 Kilometer nordöstlich von Sighişoara, hat Hochland eine Käserei übernommen.
Dort werden sowohl rumänische Spezialitäten wie Cascaval als auch Käse - Rohware für die Schmelzkäse-Produktion in Sighişoara hergestellt.

Hochland took over a cheese plant in the small spa town at the edge of the East Carpathians, some 80 kilometres north east of Sighişoara.
The aim of the company is to produce Romanian specialities such as Cascaval and also to secure the raw materials for the production of processed cheese in Sighişoara.
