P2P-Mechanismen bieten sich für Multihop-Erweiterungen des Internet, mobile Ad-Hoc-Netze ( MANET ) und Wireless Mesh Networks in natürlicher Weise an, erfordern jedoch aufgrund der Mobilität und der beschränkten Verfügbarkeit von Systemressourcen grundlegend neuartige Architektur- und Betriebskonzepte.
Das Ziel unserer Forschungsarbeiten bilden der Entwurf und die Entwicklung mobiler P2P-Systeme sowie die Optimierung von P2P-Anwendungsszenarien durch analytische Modellbildung, Simulationsstudien und Leistungsmessung.
