Maria ist seit über 12 Jahren in der Übersetzungsbranche tätig.
Sie ist gebürtige Polin, wuchs aber in Kanada auf und absolvierte dort an der Universität Waterloo den Studiengang Rhetoric and Professional Writing.
Nachdem sie als Senior Technical Writer für ein Telekommunikationsunternehmen gearbeitet hatte, beschloss Maria im Jahr 2001, wieder nach Europa umzusiedeln.
