In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Wild ist es jedoch gelungen, einen großen Teil des in diesem Zusammenhang relevanten Wissens der Schleifer in Software zu gießen.
Daraus entstand eine Software, die nicht nur schöne Volumen-maximale Lösungen berechnet, sondern auch dem Benutzer erlaubt, Geschmacks- und Mode-abhängige Parameter wie die Auswahl der Grundform oder die Schliffart festzulegen.
Das Projekt ist in die folgenden Teilprojekte untergliedert:

From this we get a computer application which is not only able to calculate solutions with maximal volume yield, but also allows the user to select those parameters which depend on taste and fashion like the choice of the shape and the cutting style.
