Aufgrund der erfolgreichen Arbeit wurde Manfred Gindel mit einer weiteren Funktion betraut :
Seit Mai 2002 ist Gindel zusätzlich Chairman der übergeordneten Organisationseinheit “Technical Commitee Transmission and Multiplexing” (TC TM) und vertritt seitdem die Anliegen aller im Komitee angesiedelten Working Groups (TM 1, TM 4, TM 6) gegenüber der Organisation ETSI.
Manfred Gindel ist seit 1991 Mitglied des ETSI und war bereits seit Jänner 2001 als Chairman der Working Group “TM 6″ tätig.
