Bei jedem Verdachtsfall (Einsprüche, Beschwerden) kommt es zu einer Überprüfung;
bei festgestelltem Missbrauch (Einsatz von Dialer-Programmen außerhalb des zugewiesenen Nummernblocks, Verletzung der Bestimmungen der Kommunikationsparameter-, Entgelte- und Mehrwertdienste Verordnung) wird der entsprechende Dial-Up Zugang zu Mehrwertdiensten gesperrt.
