Styrol ( auch als Vinylbenzol oder Phenyläthylen bezeichnet ) kommt natürlich in Lebensmitteln wie Zimt, Rindfleisch, Kaffeebohnen, Erdnüssen, Weizen, Hafer, Erdbeeren und Pfirsichen vor, allerdings nur in winzigen Mengen.
