Pieris mannii ähnelt sehr Pieris rapae, kann aber als Imago makroskopisch ( außer den Genitalunterschieden ) anhand folgender Merkmale abgegrenzt werden :
schwarzer Apikalfleck (Vorderflügel) überragt gewöhnlich die Ader M3, Diskalfleck der Vorderflügel ist größer (relatives Merkmal), Außenrand der Vorderflügel gerundeter.
Die Hinterflügelunterseite ist oft sehr intensiv gelb gefärbt bei gleichmäßigerer grauschwarzer Bestäubung.
