Militärpflichtersatz
Jeder wehrpflichtige Schweizer Bürger, der seine Wehrpflicht nicht oder nur teilweise durch persönlichen Militär- oder Zivildienst erfüllt, muss eine Ersatzabgabe in Geld leisten, den sogenannten Wehrpflichtersatz.
Diese Pflicht besteht sowohl im In- wie auch im Ausland.

Every citizen liable for military service who fails to meet his military obligations fully or in part either by completing military service or in the form of a civil service, must pay compensation called the exemption from obligation to serve tax.
This obligation is valid both for Switzerland and abroad.

Ihren Auslandurlaub ( Originalformular ), falls Sie wehrpflichtig sind ( 19 bis 42 Jahre, Offiziere 19 bis 55 Jahre ).
Ihre eingereichten Reisedokumente erhalten Sie raschmöglichst zurück.

Original leave of absence form if you are liable for military service ( age range 19 to 42, or 19 to 55 for officers ).
