Ich denke, daß Australien in seiner gegenwärtigen historischen Konfiguration ein Teil der » westlichen Welt « ist, wirtschaftlich wie politisch, und so ist es klar, daß auch Australien die Erfolge und die Probleme des Westens teilt.
