www.ivv.fraunhofer.orgMittels unterschiedlicher Partikeltechnologien werden hierfür am Fraunhofer IGB wirkstoffbeladene Mikro- und Nanopartikel formuliert.
Als pharmakologisch wirkende Substanzen (active pharmaceutical ingredients, APIs) setzen wir sowohl niedermolekulare Wirkstoffe als auch Proteine ein.
Als Grundmaterial für die Partikel wurde Chitosan sowie dessen Derivat Chitosanhydrochlorid ausgewählt.

We use small molecules or proteins as active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
Chitosan, as well as its derivative chitosan hydrochloride, was chosen as the base material for the particles.
