Jens Jasche und Fracisco S. Kitaura des Kosmographie-Teams haben am MPA ein Computerprogramm entwickelt, ARGO (Algorithm to Reconstruct Galaxy-traced Overdensities), das dreidimensionale Karten im Stundentakt auf handelsüblichen Personalcomputern mit wesentlich höherer Auflösung als bisher erstellt.
Cheng Li, ein weiterer Kosmograph am MPA, und Fracisco S. Kitaura haben die Daten des Sloan-Digital-Sky-Surveys für die Datenprozessierung aufbereitet.
