Im April findet sich eine international besetzte Jury in Amsterdam zusammen um über die Vergabe des mit 3.000 Euro dotierten Hauptpreises und die „Distinction“-Prämierungen zu entscheiden.

Sein großes Interesse an Typografie führte ihn an die University of Reading, wo er einen MA in Typeface Design erwarb und seine Leidenschaft für nicht-lateinische Schriften entdeckte.
In Deutschland arbeitete er ein Jahr für Linotype, wo er auch seine Frau Sonja kennen lernte.
