Weiter ging es auf der 97 durch British Columbia bis Kamloops, von dort entlang der 5 bis wir zum Trans-Canada-Highway ( 16 ) kamen.
Bis hier war die Fahrt recht unbeeindruckend, insbesondere die 97 in Washington, aber mit Beginn der 16 fing das an, was wir sehen wollten - Berge.
Die 16 nahmen wir dann bis Jasper in Alberta und von dort den Icefields-Parkway (93) nach Süden durch den Jasper National Park und den Banff National Park.
