Südafrika ist mit 150 offiziellen Kooperationen der wichtigste Partner deutscher Hochschulen in ganz Afrika.
Gleichwohl bieten sich noch zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zur weiteren Intensivierung der Zusammenarbeit.Hierüber werden 50 Rektorinnen und Rektoren, Präsidentinnen und Präsidenten und Vice-Chancellors deutscher und südafrikanischer Universitäten und Hochschulen beraten.
Einzelnen Hochschulen wird es somit erleichtert, Kooperationen auszubauen und neue Projekte in Angriff zu nehmen.
