The simulation code LORA and other commercial CFD-codes allows the numerical simulation of turbulent reactive fluid flows in energy conversion processes, e.g. steam generators ( brown coal and glance coal ), waste incinerators plants, industrial furnaces as drum type furnaces, burners ( gases and solids ), chemical reactors and glass melting ends.
Additionally the department uses the commercial CDF-Code FLUENT.
