The Radiation Protection Laboratory has an alpha-beta low-level measurement system, a high-resolution gamma spectroscopy, which is equipped with semiconductor detectors and permits identification of different radionuclides, gamma spectroscopy using NaI-scintillation detector and an alpha-beta monitor through which, amongst others, radon measurements in indoor air can be made.
In addition, there is an alpha-beta contamination monitor, a dose rate meter and various counter tubes ( Trigger-, Proportional-, GM-counter ) which enable tests on the distance law, shielding of ionizing radiation by different materials and the determination of the half-life.
Furthermore, the laboratory is equipped with various sources of radiation ( Co 60, Sr / Y 90, Am 241, etc. ), an isotope generator as well as various dosimeters ( e.g. for personal dosimetry ), which give the students a good overview of the practical radiation protection.

Außerdem sind ein Alpha-Beta Kontaminationsmonitor, ein Dosisleistungsmessgerät und diverse Zählrohre ( Auslöse-, Proportinal, - GM- Zähler ) vorhanden, die Versuche zum Abstandgesetz, zur Abschirmung ionisierender Strahlung durch verschiedener Materialien und die Ermittlung der Halbwertzeit ermöglichen.
Des Weiteren ist das Labor mit verschiedenen Strahlungsquellen ( Co 60, Sr / Y 90, Am 241, etc. ), einem Isotopengenerator sowie diversen Dosimetern ( u. a. zu Personendosimetrie ) ausgerüstet, die den Studierenden einen guten Überblick über den praktischen Strahlenschutz vermitteln.
