On January 18, 2013, CropScience acquired all the shares of PROPHYTA Biologischer Pflanzenschutz GmbH, a leading supplier of biological crop protection products headquartered in Malchow in the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
In addition to research and development facilities, the acquisition also includes state-of-the-art production and formulation facilities in the city of Wismar.
