Letztes Jahr wurden in 144 Ländern 4.229 verschiedene Aktionen registriert, die über eine Fahrrad-Rallye in Nepal bis hin zu einer Initiative zur öffentlichen Abfalleinsammlung in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo oder öffentlichen Kundgebungen in Albanien reichten.
In Deutschland findet zum Aktionstag jedes Jahr traditionell eine Fahrradsternfahrt in/nach Berlin statt.
