Bereits am 4. April 2011 hatten die gleichen Forstpolizisten einen weiteren Wilderer erwischt, diesmal aber in flagranti :
Sie hatten eine Fangstelle kontrolliert, an der sie im letzten Herbst nach einem Hinweis des Komitees gegen den Vogelmord den Wilderer nicht stellen konnten.
Jetzt fanden sie 9 Netze mit einer Gesamtlänge von 180 Metern sowie zwei Dutzend lebende Lockvögel.

In den Folgetagen wurden die Beamten der Forstpolizei in der Dunkelheit – meist zwischen 3 und 5 Uhr am Morgen – an den Fallen und Netzen platziert.
