An impressive 4.5 by 3.5 metres in size, 4.6 million stitches, and 300 different colour variations – the Gobelin tapestry, which shows the famous legend of the house number allocation in 1796, was created in 1964 on the occasion of the House of Fragrances’ reopening.
12 embroiderers worked on it for one and a half years!
