Ganze Jahrgangsstufen von Schülern und vollzählige Lehrerkollegien besuchten in den folgenden Monaten das Kunstmuseum und bereits zwei Jahre später nahmen etwa 7600 Schüler an dem Programm teil.
Deshalb wurde 1970 eine pädagogische Assistentin eingestellt und nur drei Jahre später eine zweite Stelle für einen Museumspädagogen geschaffen.
