Für die Synthese neuartiger Metallkomplexe werden sowohl präparativ organische als auch anorganische Methoden angewendet.
Neben der Charakterisierung der neuen Komplexe mittels spektroskopischer Methoden ist ein Schwerpunkt unserer Forschung, die Stabilität und Biotransformationsreaktionen der Verbindungen unter biologisch relevanten Bedingungen zu untersuchen.

Both preparative organic and inorganic methods are used to synthesize the new metal complexes.
In addition to characterizing the complexes with the usual spectroscopic methods, one focus of our research is the stability and biotransformation reactions of the compounds under biological conditions.
