In the former field, the Master course consolidates your knowledge of the most important epochs and cultures in the history of religions as well as of the cultural and societal significance of religions.
The history of religions is dealt with largely focussing on ancient Near Eastern, Graeco-Roman and the so-called world religions ( Hindu religions, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam ), but new forms of religions of the present are also taken into account.
In the latter field, religion is discussed from a systematic perspective.
