The finale takes place during the city festival Bochum Total.
This is when the winners from the four preliminary rounds compete against each other in the event venue Rotunde (Alter Katholikentagsbahnhof, Bochum).
The culture office boSKop is in charge of and organises the competition in collaboration with the city of Bochum, Bochum UniverCity, the AStA and the Gesellschaft der Freunde der Ruhr-Universität, as well as numerous partners from the regional event and music scene.
